The village of Halkion or Halki has a long history since it was once the capital of Naxos, its main administrative and trade centre.

The village has many neo-classic houses, two well preserved Venetian towers and Byzantine churches. In recent years Halki is gaining in popularity.
The property consists of the first floor of a traditional neo-classic building on the main village street of Halki.

Halki is in the centre of the Tragea, a beautiful fertile region, which has many mature olive groves, ancient footpaths and churches. It is an ideal area for country walks.
