The
Engares Villa 2 is a beautiful new luxury villa with a swimming
pool of 8 x 4 m and a sauna, overlooking the valley and the
village of Engares.
The Engares valley is very fertile due to an abundant water
supply from a permanent river.
The valley has many small farms, orchards and olive grooves
and it is a beautiful area for walking trips. Shaded lanes and
footpaths intersperse the valley and lead to the sandy beach
of Amitis.

The
villa has been built to very high standards and has been tastefully
furnished by the owners. The villa has has 3 bedrooms and 2
bathrooms and provides a spacious accommodation for 5-6 people.
The lower floor consists of a large open-plan, modern kitchen
and an adjacent dining room, a spacious bathroom with a shower
and 2 bedrooms.
The dining room has access to both the front and to the side
terraces.

From
the terraces there are beautiful views across the valley.
The first bedroom has a double bed, the second one has a single
bed but has ample space for a spare bed.
From the second bedroom french doors open on to the side terrace.
The first floor consist of a very spacious sitting room, a bathroom,
and a third bedroom with a double bed. |

From
the sitting room double doors open on to a large front balcony,
the bedroom has access to a second balcony on the side.
The tiled bathroom has both a bath and a shower.
Both balconies have beautiful views across the valley.
The villa is well equipped and provides a comfortable and relaxing
accommodation in a beautiful and tranquil environment. |

The
long sandy beach of Amitis, about 1 km. distance from the villa,
is as yet undeveloped except for a single taverna which is open
in the high season.
Both the villages of Engares and Galini have several excellent
local tavernas with traditional food and hospitality.
The villages and the surrounding areas are still untouched by
tourism.

The location of the villa is ideal for walking trips, there are
footpaths behind the village towards the river which is shaded
by ancient plane trees.
There are no local shops in the village, supplies are obtained
from Naxos town which is about 15 minutes driving distance.
Naxos town has an
wide range of shops, an excellent
archeological museum and an open-air cinema. |

The Kastro, the old part of Naxos town is Venetian in origin,
parts of which date back to the 13th century, is a perfectly
preserved medieval town.
For general convenience and mobility, car
rental is essential.
Car rental can be arranged
and your car can be delivered to the port or the local airport
for your arrival at no extra charge. |
